NOMAD MATTING 8900
Manufacturer 3M
Launch date 2005
Collaboration with Domus Academy Research Center, Milan. This modular matting system is designed for large public buildings with dense foot-fall. When joined, the PVC tiles form a single expanse by means of a patented, hidden jointing system. The resulting grid pattern is designed to sit discretely in any built environment, performing its unglamorous task in dry or wet weather—without trapping stiletto heals.

FLIP & JIGSAW
Producer: Porro
1998
The Flip and Jigsaw chairs explore new ideas for moulded plywood production and make visual references to historic design icons, allowing Porro to marry contemporary innovation with the rich artisan heritage of the Brianza production hub. Both sit on the same steel leg base. Flip is stackable and is charactersied by a sprung seatback with tapered thickness, while on Jigsaw the joint between the two moulded plywood parts is reinforced by its curved line, hence the name Jigsaw.

BRIDGE

Producer: Con+Con, Italy
2006
Unlike many acrylic forms used in display, this product is not made from bonded sheets, but from a single injection moulding. Using multiple carriages in the tool, we were able to obtain a pure, rectangular architectural form based on the proportions of the golden section.

KANT

Producer: Frag, Italy
2012
In the contemporary home, the writing desk retains its practical relevance and its iconic value, and is perfectly compatible with media technologies, whose own presence becomes more discrete with time. The materials, leather, timber and brass, carry strong associations with the tradition of writing and personal reflection in the home, while the form, light and minimal, looks to the future.

PLAYSTATION

Producer: Felicerossi, Italy
2002
A range of modular sofa units which can be used singly or in combinations. The seat and back are lower and deeper than on a traditional sofa, inviting the user to explore different seating positions, including lying down. The seat back can be used either as head rest or as seat. The product name suggests its usage by a young user in an informal home setting equipped with contemporary interactive media.

HANSA MIRROR

Exploring the effect of mirrors on our perception of space, this large circular mirror measuring 160cm in diameter, with a thin cherry wood frame, acts as a full height mirror when leant against a wall.

LINE

Producer: Segno, Italy
2001

Between 1999 and 2005, Adrian Peach coordinated the full product range, brand commuication, catalogue material and exhibition design for Segno and the Milan and Frankfurt fairs
